CERN has a unique room outfitted to serve the needs of scientists visiting CERN who have teaching obligations at their home institutions. It lets them teach some of their classes remotely by video link. The ATLAS Remote Teaching Facility Pilot is a one-year test to evaluate the usefulness of this facility to ATLAS scientists.
